UPCOMING WEBINAR – AUSTRALIAN SPORTS COMMISSION – NEW APPROACHES TO RECRUITING SPORT VOLUNTEERS

The Australian Sports Commission is hosting a series of webinars for the sport and recreation sector – see below for further information and click on the weblink to register your interest.

This webinar is open for anyone to join, and I encourage all clubs to have someone attend.

Information about the webinar:

Take the Pressure Down: new approaches to recruiting sport volunteers invites a panel of experts to share their experience and creative solutions to attract more sport volunteers. (Australian Sports Commission)

This seminar will explore how sporting organisations can connect into the corporate, university student, and veteran communities, and ignite new thinking around recruitment strategies for volunteers. By reimagining volunteer recruitment, sports have the potential to lighten the load on their current volunteer cohort and create new ways of working to respond to societal shifts and demands.

Hosted by Dr. Lindsey Reece (Australian Sports Commission) and Dr. Sue Regan (Volunteering Australia) this seminar will feature speakers Michael Hartung OAM, CEO, Invictus Australia, Nicholas Watkins, COO, revolutionaliseSPORT, Victor Lee, Co-Founder and CEO, Communiteer and Leigh Simmonds, Senior Manager Patient Advocacy, Corporate Social Responsibility and Reconciliation Lead, Pfizer Australia.
