PURPLE CHARITY WEEK

BN President Aaron invites all BN Clubs/members to participate in Purple Charity Week – 21-24 March 2024 to raise funds for Dementia Awareness.

Dementia is a widespread and challenging health issue affecting many individuals and their families. By contributing to Dementia awareness Bowls North club/members have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives impacted by this condition within our region.

We are all aware that Dementia has impacted some of our own bowling members and by participating in PURPLE WEEK. Bowls North clubs/members will contribute to the broader awareness effort and also stand in solidarity with our friends and fellows bowlers who may be
navigating the challenges associated with this disease.

Lets unite in a visibility impactful way. Bowls North Board encourages all members to wear something purple whether it’s a shirt, scarf or accessory and flood the bowling greens with this vibrant colour.

Lets use our shared passion for bowls as a platform to make a positive impact for a cause that has touched our bowling community personally.

All funds raised by embracing this cause will be distributed to charities within our region and clubs are asked to complete form attached and send onto Bowls North who will collate and distribute funds to the various charities.
