LAWS OF THE SPORT OF BOWLS, CRYSTAL MARK 4TH EDITION

In August 2022, the World Bowls Council approved new Laws of the Game which are due to come into effect from 1 April 2023.

Bowls Australia will publish Crystal Mark 4 including Domestic Regulations in the first week of April 2023. It will also put an article on its website in the first week of April 2023 outlining major changes in the Laws of the Game – which Bowls Tasmania will circulate to regions, clubs and all accredited umpires in Tasmania.

It is expected that all regions will implement any required changes to their events Conditions of Play from 1 April 2023. However, any competitions/events started prior to this date should continue under Crystal Mark 3.1 or Crystal Mark M3.2 until they conclude – accordingly regional pennant and Bowls Tasmania State Pennant Finals should continue under current Laws and Domestic Regulations.
