Classifications for Bowlers witha Disability

Lawn bowls is one of the most inclusive sports in Australia and clubs sometimes forget about disabled persons when they are trying to attract new bowlers to their club.    Bowls Tasmania would encourage all clubs to actively work to attract people with disabilities to join your club.

Classifications for disability bowlers will take place at the Kings Meadows Bowls Club in Launceston on Sunday 11 February 2024 commencing at 9.30am.   If you know anyone who may be interested in being classified to play in Para Bowls competitions, can you please pass this information onto them.

Any physically disabled bowlers interested in IBD classification please:-

* Download IBD Certificate of Diagnosis in “forms” from the Bowls Tasmania website.

* Have your Doctor complete the form.
