Bowls Tasmania Senior Statewide Challenge Round 1

 

 

The first round of the Bowls Tasmania Senior Statewide Challenge was played at Burnie Bowls Club on January 5, 2021 with both the  Bowls North Men’s and Women’s sides playing  the North West Coast, with the North West dominating winning five of the eight games played and are currently on top of the ladder.

Both sides could not overcome last year’s Champions in the morning games with David Heron & Sophie Fletchers rinks the only winners in the morning session.

After the lunch break both sides regrouped and with some positional changes made by the BN selectors the Women’s side was able to win on two rinks and in the Men’s the only rink to win was D Heron’s rink.

The next round of the Seniors Statewide Challenge is on 2^nd February at Kings Meadows Bowls Club.
