BOWLS NORTH CHAMPIONS OF CHAMPIONS

An outstanding display of bowling was witnessed by an appreciative and knowledgeable crowd at the Kingsmeadows Bowls Club, indoor complex, on Saturday 27th of April.

There were many close games with the standard on display dispelling the myth of an average playing surface.

The worthy winners were Jessica McMullen, who defeated Maureen Zoon for the Ladies title and Damien Lewis who defeated Chris Davern for the Men’s.

Both finals were terrific contests and congratulations must also go to our runners-up who fought tenaciously to the very end.

Jessica and Damien will now go on to fight for the State Champion of Champions titles that will be held at the Kingsmeadows Bowls Club on Sunday the 5th of may.
