EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IS SOUGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING BOARD POSITIONS.

MEN’S BOWLS DIRECTOR AND TWO FEMALE BOARD MEMBERS.

POSITION DESCRIPTION FOR MEN’S BOWLS DIRECTOR:

DUTIES:
The Men’s Bowls Director shall:
• Be responsible for the administrative preparations and arrangements to clothe,
Transport and accommodate Bowls North Northern Side and the Over 60’s Representative side at SWC events.
• Be responsible for appointment of Selectors and Coach/Mentor.
• Liaise with coach/Mentor, Bowls Tasmania Northern Selectors in matters relating to State-wide Challenge and organise venues for team training and team meetings.
• Liaise with the Treasurer for expenses incurred re; training, travel for SWC.
• Ensure that all Bowls North Side Members read through, understand, and sign the player’s agreement.
• Provide whatever assistance is necessary to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of side members.
• Ensure team unity and that all players conduct themselves in a manner that is not detrimental to other side members or the harmony of the team.
• Organise side meetings and debriefing sessions.
• Be responsible for preparation of a written report and for monthly meetings of the Bowls North Board.
• Attend all Board Meetings.
