BN FINALS & CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
Bowls North Pennant finals are now officially cancelled.
As you are aware, the Board of Bowls North endeavoured to conduct this season finals series, by postponing the finals for three weeks to see if things have improved enough for us to proceed with this season’s final series.
Due to the impact of the Coronavirus (COVIS-19) and the Australian Government regulations that have been enforced. Bowls North Pennant finals are now officially cancelled.
The Bowls North Board have made the following decisions:
Promotion & Relegation for the upcoming 2020-21 season will be done as per ladders standings – Thursday Round 17 & Saturday Round 18. Clubs that finished on top of the ladder at the end of Thursday Round 17 and Saturday Round 18, will be declared the minor premiers for season 2019-20.
Due to the unforeseen circumstances that has occurred this season, no medallions will be awarded. Clubs will be presented with a framed certificate of their accomplishment as minor premiers and prizemoney in due course.
Bowls North AGM is postponed. This decision was made, under the BN Constitution 21.2
The Annual General Meeting is to be held on any day (being no later than 3 month after the close of the financial year of the Association) the Board determines.
All Bowls North clubs & members will be advised when the Annual general Meeting is to be held.
