BOWLS NORTH SENIOR STATEWIDE CHALLENGE ROUND 2 REPORT
Bowls North was the host region for Round 2 of Bowls Tasmania Senior Statewide Challenge which was held on Tuesday 2nd February at kings Meadows Bowls Club. Being that Bowls North was the host region for this round, Bowls North fielded two sides in the Men’s & Women’s disciplines, and it was a great sight to see all the teams on the green decked out in the new Bowls North Representative sides playing uniforms.
In the morning games, Bowls North had a mixed bag of results across the rinks but after the luncheon break things changed for Bowls North sides, kicking into another gear and several games came down to the last bowl to see who won the match.
